Behind
every cup of Cafébello, there’s the perfect processing. It
starts with our tree nursery, where the best varieties of Arabica coffee
plants are sprouted. After a six to seven months period in the
nursery, the shrubs are transplanted in our farms, located at an altitude
of 3,000 feet, the perfect elevation to ensure their growth and the quality
of the coffee beans. After two years, the trees begin to bear fruits;
it is then that they’re expected to achieve optimal color and size
for harvesting. This will guarantee the coffee’s perfection.
The beans are picked meticulously and with dedication by Puerto Rican hands that
select the perfect mix of cherry beans. The beans are then transported
to our facilities for processing, in harmony with nature, respecting the water
and the environment through the use of highly efficient and low environmental
impact equipment during the drying phase. This exclusive technology also
allows the processing of the coffee grains in a way in which only the best quality
grains are selected, removing the defective beans. The selected coffee beans
then go on to the roasting phase, where our modern equipment provides the dry
beans with the perfect roasting that will guarantee the unique and exquisite
flavor only identified with top quality coffee of superior processing.
Even Cafébello’s packaging is selected with great care and perfection. Its
crystal jar and plastic lid allow consumers to visually inspect the coffee’s
roasting level and its quality, while helping maintain its freshness for a longer
period of time.
